Roger Deakin's Shepherd's Hut print

£15.00

Limited edition print of Roger Deakin's Shepherd's Hut on Walnut Tree Farm, illustrated by Ben Langworthy as part of his 'Shelter' series.

In issue 6 of Ernest Journal, Dan Richards examined the allure of basic structures – cabins, bunkers and bivouacs – at the end of the world, to understand our relationship with isolation, wilderness and creativity. Artist Ben Langworthy crafted an extraordinary series of illustrations to accompany the feature, including Scott's Antarctic hut, Jack Kerouac's lookout and Roger Deakin's shepherd's hut.

"No man should go through life without once experiencing healthy, even bored solitude in the wilderness, finding himself depending solely on himself and thereby learning his true and hidden strength." Jack Kerouac, Lonesome Traveller

Ben Langworthy is inspired by a range of mid-century influences and the outdoors. He has worked for Caught By The River, The Good Life Experience, Dashel Cycle Helmets and Pedlars.

A4 unframed print on uncoated 260gsm stock. £15 each or three for £40.
