Frequently asked questions...

How can I download the Ernest Journal app?

You can download our app on iTunes and by searching for 'Ernest Journal' on Apple Newsstand.

Is your app available on Android?

We have struck a number of problems with our digital edition and, with much regret, we have had to cancel the app so there will be no more digital editions in the immediate future. If you have already purchased and downloaded an issue then it should remain on your device.
To set up a refund for the remainder of your subscription, the best thing to do is to apply for this via your iTunes account - if you run into any problems, please contact us.

Alternatively, we would be more than happy to set you up with a complimentary one year subscription to the print edition (worth £21.50) so you can get the magazine delivered to your door.

Can I subscribe to your printed editions?

Why certainly you can! We have subscription options for one or two years, and for the UK, Europe and further afield. Please see our store page for options.

Can I buy back issues?

Yes, you can buy print issue two in our online store. Issue one of the printed edition has sold out. When rogue copies do show up we announce it on our newsletter and Twitter, so do keep in touch if you would like to track one down to complete your collection.

When will my magazine arrive?

We post out orders by first class post 2-3 times per week. UK orders should arrive within 3-5 days of ordering. European orders should arrive within a week; international orders vary depending on location. Please email us if you have any queries about your orders or subscriptions, quoting your order number.

Why hasn't my order arrived yet?

Occasionally orders go missing in the post or take longer than expected to arrive. If this happens, please just get in touch, quoting your order number and we will try to get to the bottom of the problem. If there's been an error on our part we will post you a replacement copy.

Can I stock Ernest Journal in my shop?

Yes, of course! Ernest Journal is stocked in the UK and internationally in over a hundred independent book stores, coffee shops, boutiques and barbers. For UK queries, please contact Tom Stocker at MMS distribution. For international queries, please contact Alain and Pauline at Export Press. For all other stockist queries, drop the team a line.

Who publishes Ernest Journal?

Ernest Journal is an independent, self-funded and Kickstarter-backed project published by Uncharted Press Ltd and owned by editor and publisher Jo Keeling.

Who prints the magazine?

We are proud to work with Taylor Brothers in Bristol, UK. Ernest Journal is 160 pages, perfect bound and printed in full colour on FSC approved uncoated 140gsm and silk 170gsm paper.

I would like to send you something in the post – how can I get in touch?

Our team work at home, in coffee shops and shared working spaces. If you would like to write to us, please drop us a line and we'll let you know the best postal address.
