iPad In-App purchase / subscription FAQ
1. When I subscribe within the App, am I buying all the available issues?
No. An annual subscription includes the current issue, then each subsequent issue released within the year. If you wish to download back copies (i.e. before the current issue), you are able to purchase these individually (i.e. they are not included with the subscription).
2. If I purchase an issue within the Ernest app, am I able to re-download without having to pay for the issue again?
Yes. Once you purchase an issue, it's yours to keep. You can delete the issue or the app within newsstand, install it again at a later date and select 'Restore all Purchases' from within the settings / 'cog' menu on the library screen.
3. I'm having issues downloading issues after purchasing a subscription on my iPad.
Your subscription is for the current issue at the time of purchase and each subsequent issue within a year. You will not have to purchase these issues again on your Apple ID. If you are having problems downloading or opening an issue, try selecting 'Remove Issues from iPad' from the settings / 'cog' menu (don't worry, you can re-download your issues as many time as you like without re-paying) - select individual issues to remove and then tap 'Remove'. Once deleted, you can re-download your issues by tapping the issue and then 'Download'.
If you the issue is showing a price, this means you have not purchased it with the current Apple ID or was outside your subscription period. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID you used to purchase the issue or subscription. Remember, a subscription is for the current issue at the time of purchase and each subsequent issue within the following year.
